Getting started
How do I register my school?
There are two steps to register your school to take part in Jump Rope for Heart. Click here to submit your details and your schools program details and complete your registration. As Jump Rope for Heart is a child focused program our team will confirm you are a teacher at that school and then approve you to register on behalf of the school. This two step registration process ensures children's details are in safe hands.
When should I run the program?
Jump Rope for Heart is flexible to your timetable. Simply choose which term is best for your school and how long you’d like to run the program (typically between 5-8 weeks). On the last day of the program, most schools hold a Jump Off Day for the kids to showcase their skipping and finalise their fundraising.
Who will be my point of contact for any questions during the program?
We have a team of Field Officers and Program Coordinators ready to coach you to skipping and fundraising success! Each team member is a seasoned skipper and fundraising coach, here to provide hands on support throughout your program.
Can I run the 5 Week Program and still get access to the lesson plans?
Yes, once you’re onboard and registered you will have access to all the program resources including the lesson plans.
During the program
How do I reset my password?
To reset your password

- Click 'Forgotten your password'
- Follow the prompts
How many ropes are sent out in a kit?
The number of ropes per kit is calculated to meet the needs of your school.
My school isn’t showing up on the dropdown list?
If your school doesn't appear in the drop down list please follow the prompts to add a new school.
I can’t log in with my email or password?
If you have forgotten your password, please follow the prompts in the login section.
If you have forgotten the email address you have used, please contact our team.
If your school has completed their program your child’s page would have been closed and you will no longer be able to sign in.
What resources will I receive?
Just before your program starts, you will receive:
- Skipping ropes
- Promotional materials
- Fundraising guides for students
- Stickers
You will also have access to online teachers resource. Here you will find:
- 24 lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Program timeline including tips for launching your program and organising Jump Off Day
- Templates and resources to help update colleagues, students and parents
- Skipping skills videos and cards
What is a Jump Off Day?
The Jump Off Day is the final day of your program, where students can celebrate the schools fundraising efforts, and demonstrate their skipping skills You choose the date and what activity will suit your school. Some schools do an hour of skipping at lunch while others make it an afternoon event. Your Field Officer will send you some awesome activities to make this day a great success.
How do I get my students raising funds online?
In your Jump Rope for Heart kit, you’ll have Fundraising Guides and stickers to give to all students when you launch the program. Also share your schools Jump Rope for Heart sign up link via the schools newsletter, apps and social media.
Once parents have registered encourage them to share the link to their online fundraising page via e-mail and through social media channels with friends, family, and work colleagues.
We recommend sending Jump Rope for Heart updates to your school community with messages about your fundraising and skipping success during the program. Acknowledge the most successful individual and class skippers and fundraisers.
Remind parents about Jump Rope for Heart on a regular basis! Jump Rope updates in assembly are a great way to share progress of the school and individuals.
Completing the program
You can do everything by logging into your Teacher portal here. Navigate to the left hand menu and select 'order prizes' you need to approve the students here and can then your prize order. If you need any guidance feel free to get in touch with with us using the form below.
What do I do with the funds raised?
Online Funds: We handle these for you. It’s an automated process, so you can sit back and relax knowing everything is being taken care of!
When do prizes arrive?
If you only fundraised online, we’ll be able to organise the prizes to be sent to your school right away. If you also have cash donations, you will need to bank these funds, once the Heart Foundation receives these funds prizes will be sent.
All prizes should arrive with your school 2-5 weeks after sending, you will receive email notification once they have been dispatched.
If any of the prizes initially offered to students are no longer be available once you have submitted your schools prize order, The Heart Foundation (ABN 98 008 419 761) reserves the right to substitute the prize with a similar product. You will be notified by your Field Officer if any amendments need to be made to your schools prize order.
